Reality forms stable arrangements under the action of an existing force or a new emergent force that harmonizes the forces at play.

Emergence is very clear in Chemistry. A scaffolding cooperation between chemical species forms new species, themselves forming new cooperation scaffolds, with different species and identities and unique behavior at every taxonomical level.

For example, the pergola 'emerges' from the cooperation of four columns and a number of beams laid on top.
