Fates confined to Red and Blue
You can't choose, only affirm. Candidates, preselected through curation, filtration, and selection. Parties are selective agencies combing people going against the grain, the grain being the existence of both these selective agencies. Voices at odds with the prevailing monotonies are filtered out, sidelined proactively. Emergent agendas, emergent ideals, emergent concerns, forced to cooperate with antiquated frames in scorched-earth competition. Genuine ideals, made to serve the ingrained ones. Genuine concerns, buried in noise, stale debate. Genuine agendas, deprived of their own spirit, cast as unserious, less relevant. No evolution in our way to see the world, oblivious to color, forever in the confines of red and blue.
