Dignity (Reputation, Appeal)
There is dialogue between who you are and your nature. Your dignity flows from your nature, it is your 'upheld nature', that is, your nature as acknowledged by the world you live in. Your reputation flows from here. Think of reputation as an acknowledged dignity or acknowledged nature.
Think of a place in your town or city, any place where people gather for any purpose. It may be a church, a supermarket, or a park. The dignity of the place, the reputation of the place, and the appeal of the place — you can say that all three are tied together, all three are in meaningful dialogue. The same goes with a person. Think of a politician, a doctor, and a psychic — their dignity is function of their reputation and their appeal.
The way you treat people is indicative of the dignity you ascribe to them. Consider the dignity of the parent as someone who is to be saved and respected. The dignity of a child as someone who is to be loved and cared for. Do you think people have been losing a sense of dignity in the way they treat and are treated by Reality?
